position: Electronic Hand Repair / Hand Soldering / Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $18 - $20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
SHIFT: Day, Afternoon, or Night Shift (+$2.00/hour Night Shift Premium)
STATUS: Long-Term Contract
Summary
Responsibilities include hand soldering, touch-up, repair, and inspection of electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs). The successful candidate will perform quality inspections to IPC standards, identify and repair solder defects, conduct visual inspections using microscopes and inspection equipment, complete quality documentation, and ensure products meet customer and quality specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, hand soldering, repair, or quality inspection
- Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification is considered a strong asset
OR
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Electronics Engineering Technician, Electronics Technology, or a related field with relevant hands-on soldering experience
- Strong hand soldering and rework skills
- Experience inspecting PCBs and electronic assemblies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Strong communication and documentation skills
