Warehouse Order Processor
Starboard is a leader in the importation and distribution of fish and seafood in Quebec and Ontario. Founded in 1989, the company became part of the multinational Premium Brands Holding Corporation in 2021. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support the growth of the organization. At Starboard, we are committed to providing a stimulating work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Effectively ensure the production of orders for fresh fish and seafood in accordance with the sellers’ instructions.
- Ensure the quality of the products shipped and if in doubt, report to your supervisor.
- Ensure the continuous supply of your workstation with packaging material.
- Ensure inventory rotation.
Job requirements
- Be punctual
- Minimum 1 year experience in the food industry.
- Being able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated and humid environment (essential)
- Being able to work at a good pace.;
- Capable of lifting loads up to 65 lbs.
- Scrupulously respect the demanding rules of the program on hygiene and food safety (HACCP…).
- Participate in a culture where health and safety are the priority and comply with all regulatory and society safety requirements.

Principales responsabilités
- Assurer efficacement la production des commandes de poissons et fruits de mer frais conformément aux instructions des vendeurs.
- Assurer la qualité des produits expédiés et en cas de doute, en faire part à votre superviseur.
- Assurer un approvisionnement continu de votre poste de travail en matériel d'emballage.
- Assurer la rotation des stocks.
Exigences du poste
- Être ponctuel
- Expérience minimale de 1 an dans l'industrie alimentaire.
- Être capable de rester debout et de marcher pendant de longues périodes.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement réfrigéré et humide (essentiel)
- Être capable de travailler à un bon rythme.
- Capacité à soulever des charges allant jusqu’à 65 livres.
- Respecter scrupuleusement les règles strictes du programme d'hygiène et de sécurité alimentaire (HACCP, etc.).
- Participer à une culture où la santé et la sécurité sont prioritaires et se conformer à toutes les exigences réglementaires et de sécurité de la société.
