WHAT YOU’LL DO
Role:
We are seeking a talented Facilities & Maintenance, Lead to join our Facilities team. We are looking for someone with supervisory manufacturing experience and commitment to preventative maintenance & expansion. This role will report to the Facility Maintenance Manager and will be integral to an efficient manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:

Lead the maintenance team in performing day to day preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and ongoing production expansion with facility systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, escalating issues when necessary.

Assist in coordinating external contractors for specialized services, repairs, and facility upgrades.

Monitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire suppression.

Maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track & review work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.

Support in root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

Maintain proper inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables.

Develop and deliver training for maintenance staff to build technical skills and ensure safe work practices.

Respond to emergency maintenance issues and support on-call 24/7 operations as needed.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems in a manufacturing environment.

Solid understanding of building infrastructure systems including HVAC, compressed air, water, and electrical distribution.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment specifications.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical staff.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic project management tools
WHO YOU ARE
Basic Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma/GED
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience
-
Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Supervisor Role/Lead Experience.
-
Experience in maintenance, manufacturing.
-
Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing industrial machinery.
-
Experience with Robotic Automation & PLCs, Control Schematics.
-
Scissor Lift experience.
