Cafe Ami UBC is a locally owned and operated coffee shop providing coffee and food services to the hospital staff, patients and students, 7 days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
Responsibilities:
- Serving customers with specialty beverages and light foods,
- Cashiering & customer service
- Light sandwich food prep. (wraps, sandwiches, salads)
- General cleaning
- Comfortable working as part of a team or alone
Requirements & Assets
- Barista experience* 4+ months of experience
- Experience on a manual espresso machine is an asset
- Friendly, positive "can do" attitude
- Reliable
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work well with other individuals
- Ability to work alone when needed.
- FoodSafe Certification or equivalent is an asset*
