Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English instructor to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver effective English lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and skill levels
- Provide tutoring and additional support to students requiring extra assistance in reading, writing, and communication
- Proofread student assignments and provide constructive feedback to enhance their writing skills
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress and develop personalized learning plans
- Incorporate various teaching methods and educational resources to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Maintain organized records of student performance and lesson plans
- Support students with special education needs by adapting instructional strategies accordingly
Experience
- Prior classroom experience teaching English or related subjects is preferred
- Experience working with students in tutoring or one-on-one settings is advantageous
- Familiarity with special education techniques and accommodations is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective instruction and collaboration
- Proven organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and student progress tracking
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring specialized support
