Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and creativity among children
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation in all activities
- Observe and document children’s progress, sharing insights with families and team members to support ongoing development
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and organize engaging group activities
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to provide updates on children’s achievements and well-being
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
- Classroom experience that highlights your ability to manage group activities and foster positive behavior
- Passion for teaching and supporting young learners’ development through creative approaches
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or caregiving are preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing attitude that builds trust with children and families
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
