Compensation & Perks

- Competitive Starting Pay: $22.00/hr + vacation & stat pay ($24.11/hr total).
- Overtime Pay: Start earning $33.00/hr for OT hours.

- Weekend Bonus: Additional earning potential for weekend shifts (available after 3 months).

Your Role on the Team
As a Trainee/Swamper, you will work directly with our Lead Operators to provide "day-lighting" and soft excavation services for critical infrastructure (telecom, hydro, gas).
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Support: Assist the Operator with digging, hose handling, and site setup.
- Safety First: Adhere to all health and safety policies and maintain a clean work site.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily paperwork and logs.
- Equipment Care: Assist with daily inspections and basic maintenance of the hydrovac unit.
- Material Handling: Load/unload supplies and ensure all debris is removed from sites.
What We Need From You
No previous hydrovac experience is necessary—we will train the right candidate. However, the following are firm requirements:
- Drug Testing: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- License: Must possess a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Reliability: You are punctual, hardworking, and ready to learn.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
