RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean processed metal using hand grinders
- Stack and wrap pallets, use Forklift to move parts and skids
- Assist Operators in set up and monitor Laser / plasma / oxy-fuel cutting machines.
- Use of Overhead crane (some training provided)
- Move and load pallets via forklift
- Counting, order documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures in all areas.
- Other duties as assigned, clean up shop as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be able to lift up to 35-45 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills English
- Perform basic mathematical calculations
- Have initiative, and the ability to learn and take direction
- Dependable, excellent attendance record
- Fork lift experience would be an asset
- Have a work permit to work in BC
- Able to work Day or afternoon shifts full time, sorry no part-time positions
