Job Description
The Machine Operator Assistant should be a quick learner, someone who works well under deadlines, mechanically inclined and a troubleshooter.
Hours
Rotating Shift Work (Day, Afternoon, Night) Monday- Friday
Responsibilities
- Help the machine operator set up and operate various manufacturing machines.
- Assist employees in all aspects of the production and packaging process
- Assist in plan and schedule tasks for receiving, storage and shipping of all goods
- Implement good housekeeping standards and procedures
- Comply good housekeeping standards and procedures to follow GMP’s and HACCP
- Work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and established rules
Skills and Experience
- Be able and willing to work flexible schedules
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Safety minded
- Strong Communication Skills
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Have basic math and basic computer skills
- Ability to follow directions closely and function as a part of a team
