Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation standards are met and customer satisfaction is maximized.
- Handle cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments via POS, and giving accurate change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces to ensure food safety compliance.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during high-volume service periods to deliver prompt, friendly service.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar transaction platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
