At RONA Portage, we’re looking for a Home Design & Renovation Consultant to help homeowners bring their renovation ideas to life. Whether it’s a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, deck, windows, doors, or a complete home renovation, you’ll guide customers through the process from their initial ideas to the finished project.
No construction experience is required. If you’re great with people and eager to learn, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
Meet with homeowners to understand their renovation goals.
Help customers choose products that fit their style, budget, and needs.
Prepare quotes and project estimates.
Coordinate material orders and deliveries.
Schedule and communicate with professional installers.
Keep projects organized and customers informed throughout the renovation.
Build lasting relationships by delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Work closely with our Design Centre, sales team, and suppliers to ensure successful project completion.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
Friendly and approachable.
Passionate about helping customers.
Organized and detail-oriented.
A strong communicator.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable learning new products and systems.
Interested in home design, decorating, or renovations.
Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Experience
Experience in customer service, sales, interior decorating, retail, project coordination, or home improvement is considered an asset—but not required.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help customers create spaces they’ll love.
