Our casual gastropub seeks a friendly, upbeat Host to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with customers and is willing to learn patrons’ names. Some back-of-house and or support assistance, such as side duties, bussing tables and running food. If you love the restaurant business and genuinely enjoy people, we need to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door.
Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
Seat guests and provide initial introduction of restaurant.
Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed.
Learn food and beverage menu.
Record and input take-out order.
Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for wait staff.
Answer phones and provide accurate information to guest.
Take and record reservations.
Assist in food running and table bussing.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
