5-Ton Driver/Mover (Air Brakes/Q-Endorsement Required)

CSS Office Solutions is hiring experienced 5-ton driver/movers who are confident behind the wheel and fully capable on the corporate floor handling commercial furniture, in addition to proper loading, and securing of items/equipment in the truck.
To be considered, you must have a minimum of 5 years claims-free commercial 5-ton driving experience, a clean abstract with no commercial or personal claims, and proven hands-on experience with load securement and material handling.
If you are looking for a driving-only position, this role is not a fit.
This is not a driving-only role.

- Minimum 5 years claims-free commercial driving experience
- No at-fault claims, commercial or personal
- Clean driver’s abstract, no suspensions or major violations
- Valid Alberta Class 5 license (non-GDL)
- Air brake certification, with Q-endorsement
- Proven experience with:
- Strapping, blocking, and securing loads properly
- Blanket wrapping and protecting product
- Multi-stop commercial buildings and enclosed loading docks
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. safely and consistently
- Work as team member of the crew on any/every job, not just be a driver
- Comfortable navigating downtown Calgary, loading docks, and tight access points
As a Driver/Mover at CSS Office Solutions, you are a key part of our service team. You are responsible not only for safe operation of the truck, but also for ensuring any materials, equipment, and product is properly handled, protected, and delivered to the CSS standard.
This is a hands-on role. Every team member is expected to contribute to the physical work on site.
- Operating a 5-ton truck with air brakes for deliveries and pickups
- Loading, unloading, and securing furniture and equipment
- Blanket wrapping and protecting product for transport
- Completing days with multi-stops, or days with one location
- Working in commercial environments, including offices and job sites
- Navigating downtown Calgary and surrounding areas
- Supporting furniture installations and on-site adjustments
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Experience with office furniture delivery, installation, or relocations
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Professional, client-facing communication
