Puddle Jumpers Prepschool is hiring a full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our growing team!
We are looking for a passionate, reliable educator who shares our belief in guided and inquiry-based learning. We provide a safe, caring, and collaborative environment where children are encouraged to explore, question, and build confidence through play.

Schedule & Hours
Must be available to work between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Shifts may vary based on program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement play-based learning experiences aligned with the How Does Learning Happen? framework
- Observe, document, and reflect on children’s interests and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Build respectful partnerships with families and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with all CCEYA and public health requirements
- Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, and rest
- General centre maintenance and hygiene
What We’re Looking For
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Experience in a licensed Canadian child care setting preferred
- CPR Level C and Standard First Aid certification (required)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?, ELECT, and inquiry-based approaches
