Position(s) Title: Truck and Coach Technician 310-T

Position Summary
Cox Construction is looking for people to join our growing Construction Team in the building of roads, drainage infrastructure, earth moving and supply of aggregates to our customers.
We are looking for individuals who work well with others as a team and can work independently.
Provision of company vehicle for the position.
Major Responsibilities (Not limited to)
- Complete diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our equipment while maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality;
- Complete work orders electronically and ensure work is coded correctly for invoicing;
- Electronically look up parts, manuals, schematics, etc.;
- Order the necessary parts to complete a repair;
- Conduct safety certifications on licensed equipment;
- Perform recalls and service bulletins;
- Occasionally work as part of a team to complete larger scoped repairs;
- Communicate with Shop Manager regarding delays in repairs and challenges; good communication skills, and be able to interact positively with customers, supervisors, and colleagues
- Keep neat and organized records of services and work in process;
- Keep workspace neat, organized, clean and tidy.
- Be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot faulty equipment by implementing critical thinking and utilizing diagnostic software.
- Perform service and repairs in the shop and in the field, when needed. Mobile repair truck provided .
· Experience & desired skills:
· A 310-T license is required, or apprentices working toward your 310T license
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the industry;
- Experience reading schematics (Electrical and hydraulic);
- Strong knowledge in hydraulic, electric, and electronic;
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills;
- High level of comfort in using a computer daily;
- Good organization and time management skills;
- Results focused
- Willingness to work extended hours, weeknights, weekends and holidays, as required
