What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic and be involved in all aspects of Departmental operations, including recruitment, training and development, and performance management.
- Provide strong leadership and support to department team members.
- Provide top-notch customer service satisfaction.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the operations of the department’s team.
- To achieve budgeted goals.
- Ensuring merchandising, production, and facility image are at the highest standards.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting procedures as required.
- To assume responsibility for the maintenance of competitive prices and initiating price checks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations:
- You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in retail (Bakery/Deli), with at least 1 year in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
- Experience within the Co-op Retailing System, or in a retail Food Store would be an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple demands – adaptable, organized, efficient, and committed.
- You are Customer service-focused and possess good problem-solving skills.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
