COOK
About the Role
As Cook, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen — preparing and assembling authentic Mexican dishes with consistency, speed, and care. You’ll work closely with both the back-of-house and front-of-house teams to ensure every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards.
What You’ll Do
- Prep, cook, and assemble menu items following our recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in line with food safety protocols
- Manage inventory, control portions, and properly store and label food items to minimize waste
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff on online and delivery orders for a seamless customer experience
- Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries
CASHIER
About the Role
As Cashier, you’re the face of Gus Tacos — the first and last impression our customers have. You’ll handle orders, payments, and customer interactions with a friendly attitude and sharp attention to detail, creating a memorable dining experience every single time.
What You’ll Do
- Take and process customer orders accurately, including dine-in, takeout, and online platforms (UberEats, Skip the Dishes, etc.)
- Handle cash, debit/credit, and mobile payment transactions securely using the Toast POS system
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the customer experience
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, prioritizing resolution
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, and lobby area and stock supplies as needed

Compensation Disclosure
Cook: $18.50 per hour + tips
Cashier: $17.60 per hour + tips
Compensation listed reflects wages as defined under the ESA. Tips are not included in the wage calculation and are distributed per our tip policy.
