From its full-service multi-studio facility, SJC Content works with leading brands and retailers to create content for every channel, including photography, video, social animation, interactive e-commerce content and digital signage. The Mar-Comm Project Manager drives the planning and execution of seasonal and other strategic marketing campaigns, leading collaboration on these projects both cross-functionally and with a network of vendor partner marketing agencies.
SJC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer with at least 2–3+ years of professional experience creating retail marketing and digital content. The successful candidate is passionate about design, understands modern retail storytelling, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
This role will design content across multiple retail touchpoints including mobile, email, social media, eCommerce, digital advertising, in-store signage, and print. The ideal candidate combines strong creative fundamentals with technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging AI-powered creative tools.
A mobile-first mindset, strong production skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Design compelling creative assets for retail campaigns across digital, mobile, social, email, eCommerce, print, and in-store environments.

Create layouts that balance strong visual storytelling with usability, accessibility, and conversion objectives.

Produce responsive, mobile-first creative that performs across multiple screen sizes and customer touchpoints.

Work from established brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative thinking and visual solutions.

Prepare production-ready files for digital publishing and print.

Collaborate with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Art Directors, Project Managers, Production Artists, and Developers throughout the creative process.

Support high-volume versioning and localization across multiple campaigns and retail brands.

Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, production specifications, and project timelines.

Stay current with retail design trends, UX best practices, AI-enabled workflows, and evolving digital platforms..

2-3+ years of professional graphic design experience within an agency, retailer, publisher, or in-house creative team.

Strong portfolio demonstrating digital-first retail, marketing, or eCommerce creative.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Experience designing in Figma for digital products, responsive layouts, and collaborative workflows.

Comfortable using AI-powered creative tools to improve ideation, production efficiency, and asset generation.

Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, hierarchy, and branding.

Excellent production skills with careful attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within fast-paced production schedules.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience designing for both digital and print production is an asset.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles is considered an asset.
AI, Workflow and Technology Expectations

Experience using AI to support concept development, image generation, editing, production efficiency, and content adaptation.

Familiarity with collaborative design workflows using Figma and cloud-based creative platforms.

Understanding of digital asset management, workflow automation, and version-controlled creative production.

Experience with AI platforms, Adobe Firefly, generative image tools, image masking/background tools, DAM workflows, or eCommerce automation platforms is an asset.
