Job Summary
We are seeking a Beauty Shop Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our hair and nail salon business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining inventory, supporting recruitment and training, monitoring customer service standards, maintaining operational records, and assisting with business administration and salon operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, and support personnel, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage daily operations such as scheduling appointments, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Oversee retail sales, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to maximize revenue.
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budget management to ensure financial efficiency.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing customers through promotional campaigns.
- Conduct interviews, recruit new team members, and oversee training & development programs for staff growth.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
- Monitor store performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and salon policies.
Skills
- Strong leadership with proven supervising experience in retail or salon management.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and organizational skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Expertise in negotiation, sales management, and marketing strategies to grow the business.
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, merchandising, and store management systems (POS).
- Ability to train staff on customer service excellence and product knowledge.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, team management, and staff development initiatives.
- Competence in cash handling, cashiering procedures, and sales tracking software (e.g., POS systems). Education Requirement
Completion of a college diploma or university degree in business administration, management, hospitality management, or a related field.
