MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to lead our Downtown Calgary team in the capacity of Regional Manager. As a self-driven leader who inspires, your role is to manage the company's overall regional operations. You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools, possess excellent leadership and decision-making skills, and can effectively multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline; CCDP Designation or a Specialized Career Development Certificate
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a Senior Management Role
- Five plus years’ experience in Career Development and in supporting Government Funded programs preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of work search strategies and labour market information
- Project Management experience
- Human Resource planning experience
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Forecasting and tracking experience
- Curriculum design and development and competency assessment knowledge
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- General Management – operational management for the designated region
- Human Resources – workforce planning and development, in collaboration with Human Resources
- Communication – relationship-building with key stakeholders
- Leadership – communicate organizational vision and goals; inspire and encourage team members
- Marketing/Sales Management – lead marketing, sales, recruitment, and events strategy for the designated region
- Strategic Planning – drive future growth and organizational change through creativity and innovation
