Crown Ridge Health Care Services Inc operates Westgate Lodge Long-Term Care home, located in Belleville, Ontario. Westgate Lodge will be the home to 160 long-term care residents.

Part-Time Housekeeping and Laundry Aide

WHAT WILL BE DOING
- Maintain positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and public
- Clean and maintain designated areas of the facility, including rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Dust furniture, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and clean windows
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Sanitize surfaces and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- General laundry duties include the collecting and sorting of all soiled laundry following all established methods and techniques.
- Follows established policies and procedures for the sorting, repairing and care of linens and personal laundry. Complies with procedures for transportation of soiled and clean linen.
- Washes, dries and folds personal laundry. Duties may include the ironing and mending of personal laundry if these additional services are requested by the resident or their family. Daily distribution of all clean personal laundry to resident rooms is expected.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Long-Term Care Homes Act, and their regulations in performing duties safely and following all Crown Ridge Healthcare Health & Safety policies, procedures, and legislations

WHAT WILL YOU BRING ALONG
- Vulnerable sector check that is less than 6 months old at the time of hire
- TB test steps 1 and 2 proof and 1 step in last 6 months until two step obtained in last year.
- Good communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
