Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where teamwork and food safety are paramount. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and cooking procedures meet food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during dine-in service
- Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
- A positive team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic
