Banana Grove Market & Deli is seeking a full-time produce department clerk to join our staff. We are a family-owned neighbourhood grocery store located in East Vancouver.
- Must be able to work within a team as well as individually
- Previous experience in a retail store produce department is preferred
- Ability to speak both English and Cantonese is an asset but not required
- Full training will be provided
- May be required to work weekends
- Salary dependent upon experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Duties will include but may not be limited to:
- Preparing and packaging produce for sale
- Stocking produce cases
- Providing customer service through knowledge of all produce items
- Cleaning and maintenance of produce department
- Receiving and storage of daily produce shipments
