Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patrons and staff. This role involves performing thorough cleaning and sanitation of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, and other facility spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, and floors regularly to ensure a hygienic environment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and cooking equipment
- Wash and Dry all dishes and clear the garbage as needed.
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and dispose of waste properly
- Perform deep cleaning tasks such as floor waxing, window washing, and equipment sanitation as scheduled
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals to prevent hazards
- Co-ordinate with the garbage disposal company and schedule pick-ups.
Skills
- Experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety protocols is advantageous
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as needed
