Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Part-Time Simulator Technician to support the day-to-day operation of a professional motorsport simulation facility. This role involves maintaining simulator systems, assisting customers and drivers, troubleshooting technical issues, preparing racing sessions, and helping ensure a smooth and professional experience for all guests.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about motorsport, sim racing, gaming PCs, or technology in general who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the facility.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate racing simulators for customer sessions and events
- Assist customers with simulator setup, controls, seating adjustments, and general operation
- Monitor simulator sessions and respond to technical issues as they arise
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and networking problems
- Maintain simulator hardware including PCs, wheelbases, pedals, displays, and accessories
- Configure and launch racing software, servers, and session settings
- Perform routine updates, system checks, and preventative maintenance
- Help organize telemetry, race data, and simulator files where required
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of simulator room and facility equipment
- Support special events, leagues, driver training sessions, and corporate bookings
- Communicate professionally with customers, staff, and management
- Assist with general facility operations as needed
- Potentially property maintenance as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in motorsport, sim racing, or automotive technology
- Basic understanding of PC hardware and Windows troubleshooting
- Familiarity with racing simulators or racing games is considered an asset
- Comfortable learning technical systems and software quickly
- Ability to remain calm and solve problems under pressure
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event days when required

- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT systems, or related programs
- Familiarity with racing telemetry or motorsport data analysis
- Experience with networking, PC building, or IT support
- Competitive sim racing or motorsport experience
- Experience working in hospitality, events, or customer-facing roles
