Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver who speaks Ilocano to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of seniors or individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a respectful and comforting environment for those in need of assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting mental well-being
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs related to dementia, hospice, or other medical conditions
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
Requirement
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care.
- HCA Certified
- Ability to speak Ilocano (preferred) or other languages is an asset
- Caregiving, healthcare, or support work experience is an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Ability to travel to client homes
- Familiarity with senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration, meal preparation, and basic nursing skills is beneficial
- Experience in caregiving roles that involve heavy lifting and physical support is advantageous

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
