This full-time position is based at Downey’s Home Hardware at 1106 Cleveland Ave, Riverview, New Brunswick.
Job Description:
The Inside Sales Coordinator helps optimizing sales within the Lumber and Building Materials department.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates high standards of customer service
- Build and maintain business relationships with customers that will result in repeat business
- Prepares estimates and sales orders for customers
- Follows up on sales orders and deliveries
- Continually learns about products and market conditions
- Support outside sales reps to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Work closely with purchasing and sales contractor desks in each location
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Problem solver who enjoys working in team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in customer service is required
- Knowledge of the building materials industry is a definite asset
- Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn new software program
- Ability to work co-operatively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
Working relationships
o Reports directly to the Sales Manager, Lumber and Building Materials.
