Through the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), the Government of Canada has embarked on one of the largest procurement projects since the Second World War. The NSS is a nation-building effort to create a sustainable Canadian shipbuilding industry, secure long-term job opportunities and build the next generation of ships for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Through its NSS–related work, Seaspan Shipyards is owning the redevelopment of our domestic shipbuilding industry on the West Coast and delivering on the promise of ships built in Canada, by Canadians.
The Intern, Systems Analyst supports the Operational Systems team in maintaining and enhancing business systems while contributing to the establishment and ongoing maturity of the Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE) and the readiness of boundary systems supporting Oracle ERP implementation. Working closely with Systems Analysts, business stakeholders, and vendors, the intern will support system operations, testing activities, documentation, and process standardization, helping to improve operational efficiency and ensure successful system deployment outcomes.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 889 Harbourside Drive, North Vancouver.

- Strong interest in systems support, operational systems, and technology-enabled business environments
- Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document processes and technical information clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Basic knowledge of databases or SQL is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $28.00/hour.

End Date of Internship: Friday, April 30th, 2027 (8-Months).
