Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality within our establishment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Manage customer interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bowling alley, including kitchen areas.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Implement health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety among staff.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of food service operations, including kitchen management and bartending is an asset.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
