Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong basic math skills are essential for handling cash and managing transactions accurately.
- Experience in food handling practices is an advantage to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
