Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in South Surrey / White Rock. In this role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care settings. You will develop personalized care plans, utilize your physiology and anatomy knowledge, and work closely with patients of all ages to improve mobility, manage pain, and promote overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including medical terminology and physiology knowledge
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including discharge planning for hospital or home care transitions
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and rehabilitation exercises
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless inpatient and outpatient care delivery
- Support patients across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those requiring home & community care services
- Document patient progress accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and maintain comprehensive treatment records
- Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and self-management techniques
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a licensed Physiotherapist with relevant regulatory bodies
- Proven experience in acute care, hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques
- Experience with discharge planning and creating effective care plans for diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards in healthcare settings
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Additional experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, geriatrics or trigger point therapy is highly desirable
