We are looking for a skilled Millwright. You have a knack for fixing things, you can take equipment apart and put it together again, you find problems and complete repairs on a wide range of equipment and tools – you like to solve puzzles! This is a team oriented, hands-on job opportunity.
Shift Schedule:
Wednesday - Saturday Day Shift (6am to 4:30pm) 4X10
Accountabilities:
- Repair, troubleshoot and follow preventative maintenance schedule to sustain optimal performance of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Perform or assist with repairs and general equipment, facility, building maintenance
- Perform or assist with set up and installation of equipment
- General facility repairs for our manufacturing and office facilities
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment, building systems and property.
- Equipment: inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and servicing.
- Building Systems: working in shop, yard, maintaining vehicles and ancillary equipment
- Maintain plant and office facilities to remove hazards and ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with other departments to facilitate production as well as project work and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Red Seal Millwright Certification or enrollment in Millwright apprentice program
- Strong mechanical / technical abilities and trouble shooting skills
- Experience working with shop tools
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently, with effective follow through and completion of duties
- Problem solver and solution oriented
- Sound comprehension of mathematics
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, bend pull and move tools and equipment
- Valid driver’s license to drive to our several plants and offices
- Safety oriented

- Work is indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions.
- We look for a solid work history, supportive work references and a demonstrated commitment to great attendance.
- Heavy lifting required – up to 50lbs.
