Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the overall operations of our restaurant. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support the kitchen team with food prep activities, including ingredient setup and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas to uphold health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
Skills
- Basic cooking skills or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness
