Position: PROGRAM Coordinator/Bookkeeping Assistant.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The role will bring an well-honed, professional, experienced enthusiasm to this role with a singular focus on, and responsibility for, expanding, maintaining our current data base of clients of Habitat Handyman. Lawn care, Snow Removal customers. The role will include but not limited to arranging home visits, creating files, sending out quotes, receiving payments, invoicing and tracking of all jobs through HFHC portal.
This is a full-time, forty (40) hours per week position that may occasionally require evening or Saturday hours.
REPORTS TO:
This role is a direct report of the CEO, and secondary to the Manager of Handyman Services and Finance and Administration Lead.
SCOPE OF AUTHORITY:
While it is expected that the incumbent will, at times, work collaboratively with other affiliate staff, volunteers and stakeholders.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
The successful incumbent to this position has a three to five (3-5) year track record as a confident and stellar oral and written communicator. Ideally, the candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Office Administration, and some financial back ground working with Excel as well as Sage Accounting, as well as principles and practices inclusive of financial record keeping, reporting and budget.
The successful candidate must have their own, reliable transportation and will be required to provide an incident-free Police check.
SCOPE OF COMMUNICATIONS:
The nature of this position is such that the incumbent must have the ability to engage in and facilitate clear, consistent and timely communications with all of HFHS/L’s stakeholder groups and to translate that communication into the advancement of Habitat Sarnia/Lambton locally.

The incumbent to this position will:
· Become thoroughly familiar with Habitat for Humanity’s mission, vision and values and will be at ease in conveying these and the role of our social enterprises [ReStore, Handyman and the like] in the delivery of our mission;
· Embrace the intrinsic and critical importance of the Habitat brand, and will undertake all aspects of the position mindful of his/her role as a brand ambassador;
· Be innately familiar with, and will consistently adhere to, the Habitat for Humanity brand guidelines in the execution of his/her duties;
