Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and comprehensive knowledge of retail management. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions
- Manage merchandising efforts to maximize product visibility and sales opportunities
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with marketing plans
- Handle purchasing decisions, inventory control, and stock replenishment to meet customer demand
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for upper management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards
- Manage administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and record keeping
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Oversee store organization to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a team and engage customers effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing techniques
- Knowledge of recruiting processes, interviewing techniques, training & development programs
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated competency in budgeting, administrative tasks, and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
