Irrigation system Installation Laborer
Responsibilities
- Assist in various labor tasks, including heavy lifting, digging and raking.
- Utilize hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting and fitting together pipe
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and task coordination.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support skilled Technician by preparing job sites and cleaning up after tasks are completed.
Summary
As a Laborer, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to various tasks during new irrigation system projects. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your role involves performing physical labor, working with basic hand tools, and assisting experienced Technicians. We expect you to demonstrate core skills in teamwork, safety protocols, and basic tool usage.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manual labor or construction environments
- Ability to operate basic hand tools safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Comfortable working outdoors in the summer
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a labor setting
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks as required
