Your future role on our team
We’re seeking an intermediate Process Engineer in Pyrometallurgy to be part of our growing portfolio of high-temperature process consultants and pyrometallurgists. You’ll be involved in every aspect of process designs, including simulation models for pre-treatment, smelting, converting, and refining processes, and will help design complete processes.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in extractive metallurgy or chemical engineering from an accredited university
- 5 to 10 years of experience in pyrometallurgical process designs for non-ferrous metals
- Advanced knowledge and experience with the process simulation software packages METSIM and HSC Chemistry; other simulation tools are also accepted, e.g., SysCAD
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
