Overview
We are seeking motivated and friendly Cashier/Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions efficiently, and assisting with food preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in your role.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing customer orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients, portioning, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas following food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and order accuracy
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
