Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all guests
- Follow all sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
