Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete various construction tasks.
- Layout and steel stud framing and drywall boarding (Mudding skill is an asset)
- Perform caulking duties to seal gaps and joints in structures for insulation and weatherproofing.
- Collaborate with carpenters to assist in cabinet installation and other woodworking projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Support team members in building, restoring, or renovating structures according to project plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Skilled Laborer or similar role in the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, concrete forming techniques, and carpentry skills is essential.
- Ability to plumb and level structures accurately, ensuring alignment and levelness during construction processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely for optimal results.
- A commitment to safety practices on the job site is crucial for this position.
