Guided by experienced and certified Early Childhood Educators (ECE), Sadochok integrates a multidimensional program that fosters a love for Ukrainian culture, language, and spiritual heritage. The curriculum supports the social, emotional, and academic development of children in a supportive and inclusive setting. Sadochok aims to promote cultural enrichment alongside foundational learning for young children.
Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Ukrainian speaking Early Childhood Educator based in Mississauga, ON. The educator will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that promote childhood development in a safe and engaging environment. Daily duties include organizing activities, fostering creativity, supporting social and emotional growth, and cultivating an appreciation for the Ukrainian cultural heritage. Collaboration with families and staff is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Ukrainian speaking is required
- Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or equivalent qualification.
- Early Childhood Development and Working with Children: Strong knowledge of early childhood development concepts and proven experience in engaging with young children in educational or care settings.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Creativity Skills: Ability to design and implement creative and interactive learning activities that inspire curiosity and engagement.
- Organization Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules, activities, and academic materials effectively.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
