We're looking for a talented Residential Interior Designer to join our team.
This isn't a traditional design role.
While you'll use your design expertise to help homeowners create beautiful, timeless interiors, your greatest responsibility will be guiding clients through one of the most exciting milestones of their lives. You'll become a trusted advisor throughout the design phase, helping homeowners make confident decisions while ensuring every detail is organized, communicated, and executed with excellence.

What You'll Do
As our Residential Interior Designer, you'll lead homeowners through the complete design and selections process while collaborating closely with our design, estimating, construction, and supplier partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Guide homeowners through all interior and exterior selections from concept to final approval.
- Create cohesive, timeless design palettes that reflect each client's lifestyle and vision.
- Advise clients on cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint colours, hardware, fireplaces, exterior finishes, and other architectural details.
- Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, product recommendations, and design presentations.
- Coordinate selections with suppliers, consultants, and trade partners.
- Prepare accurate selection documentation, specifications, and change orders.
- Manage multiple homeowner projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Communicate proactively with homeowners throughout the design process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Conduct site visits during construction to verify design intent and answer questions.
- Collaborate with our construction and office teams to ensure design decisions are implemented accurately.
- Utilize technology and AI tools to improve communication, organization, documentation, and design efficiency.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone with:
- 3–5 years of residential interior design experience, preferably with a custom or production home builder.
- Interior Design education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of residential construction and finish materials.
- Experience preparing selection documentation, specifications, and change orders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CoConstruct, Buildertrend, AutoCAD, or similar software is considered an asset.
- Comfortable using AI and technology to improve productivity and client communication.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
