Job Summary
S&I Services Group Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a potential upcoming Site Manager opportunity within a College environment located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

We are seeking professional, organized, and leadership-driven individuals who have experience managing commercial cleaning operations, staff performance, and client relationships within large facilities.
The Site Manager would be responsible for overseeing daily janitorial and facility service operations within a College environment. This role would involve managing employees and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are maintained, conducting inspections, handling client communication, and ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Tentative Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning and operational activities within the facility
- Manage and support cleaning staff and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks
- Ensure health & safety standards and company policies are consistently followed
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage as needed
- Communicate professionally with management and client representatives
- Address operational concerns, deficiencies, or emergency situations promptly
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders
- Complete reports, inspections, and administrative documentation accurately and on time
- Support onboarding and training of new staff members if required
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities management, or a related industry preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions when required
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience handling inspections, staff performance, and client communication
- Basic computer and email knowledge required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check if selected for future consideration

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
