Overview
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in automotive or industrial mechanics, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude. This role provides comprehensive training and working with a team. Looking for someone with hydraulic experience, hard worker and able to work full time hours.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on various equipment or vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and work with hydraulic pumps and systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Able to work with and understand basic hydraulic systems and electrical wiring.
- Document work performed accurately and report findings to supervising technicians
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school coursework in mechanics is a plus
- Strong interest in mechanical systems, automotive repair, or industrial machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and learn new skills quickly
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in various positions
