The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Foreman or skilled carpenter to lead our crew. You’ll be hands-on, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards—while setting the pace and example for the rest of the crew.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on site
- Read and interpret work orders, plans, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets Valley Cap standards and OBC compliance
- Manage material deliveries, job site organization, and timelines
- Communicate with clients and management about progress and issues
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain a safe worksite in compliance with WSIB and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Carpentry and/or roofing experience
- Knowledge of shingle and steel roofing, eavestrough, siding, etc.
- Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (clean abstract)
- Working at Heights (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, motivated, and able to inspire your crew

- $35–$50/hr based on experience
