The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Cellar Person to join our production team.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day care of our beverages throughout fermentation, transferring, conditioning, and packaging. You will also support Tea production and complete cleaning and sanitizing of tanks using CIP, COP, and manual cleaning.
The Cellar Person will work closely with our Brewers, Production Floor Manager, and Production Manager to help ensure every batch leaves the cellar in top condition.
This is an active production-floor role for someone who takes pride in clean equipment, accurate records, consistent processes, and quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage fermentation and conditioning tanks, including temperature, gravity, and pressure checks
- Perform yeast harvesting, pitching, and cropping
- Complete CIP, COP, and manual cleaning and sanitation of tanks, lines, and equipment
- Transfer beer between tanks and into brite tanks
- Support kegging, canning, and bottling operations as required
- Maintain accurate cellar logs and batch records in Ekos
- Perform quality checks, including dissolved oxygen, carbonation, taste, and visual checks
- Identify and communicate quality concerns promptly
- Learn and complete tea production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cellar and production area
- Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Pitch in wherever needed to help keep production moving
What You Bring
- Previous cellar, brewing, beverage production, or related production experience is preferred
- Craft brewery experience is considered an asset, but we are happy to train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in beer and brewing
- Comfort completing physical work, including lifting kegs and sacks weighing up to approximately 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an active, wet production environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measurements, gravity readings, and dilution calculations
- Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends when production requires it
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Work Location: In person
