Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as a full-time Transfer Driver.
The Transfer Driver is responsible for driving different company vehicles, ranging from Vans to 1 Ton Trucks, for the purpose of delivering and picking up shipments from our customers or between company warehouse locations. The driver will be required to ensure they follow company procedures by using our ELD systems, required paperwork is signed and recorded, and all freight is accounted for. Also, you will be required to follow all safety procedures and requirements as we strive to maintain a safe working environment for all our employees and customers.
Job Summary:
· Completing deliveries from Richmond, BC to the Greater Seattle Area, USA for same day deliveries and pickups
· Completing local deliveries throughout the Lower Mainland in company vehicles (1 Ton Trucks, Vans)
· Pallet jack loading / unloading of trailers and trucks as required
· Complete assigned pickups and deliveries
· Assist in loading and unloading freight on assigned vehicle
· Pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks using the company’s ELD system
· Report any discrepancies for company equipment, vehicles, and paperwork as they arise
· Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
· Keep a clean and safe working environment
Shift Times:
Based on operational requirements and the volume of work, shift starting and end times may vary between Monday to Friday.
Start-times can be from 5:00 am-8:00 am.
End -times can be from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
As well, weekend availability is a plus. Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.
Required Qualifications:
· 25 years old or older, as per insurance purposes
· Experience driving different types of vehicles (5 Ton, 3 Ton, Sprinter Vans, etc.) a positive
· Clean driver’s abstract and driving history
· Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
· Smart Phone with Android or iOS system for tracking applications
· Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Medical Drug Testing as required
· Understand and be a leader in following company safety procedures
· Have a Valid Canadian Passport or US Visa to be able to cross the Canada and USA border for deliveries/pickups
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Good communication skills

Compensation:
$25-26/hr
