Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency in project management software. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality construction projects within scope and schedule. The Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety standards and fostering effective communication among stakeholders.
Duties
- Develop and review project plans, blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings using software such as STACK, Bluebeam and Civil 3D
- Utilize construction management software including EXCEL ProCore, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6 to plan, schedule, and track project progress.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy through construction estimating techniques.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage procurement processes and oversee the ordering of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project timelines closely, applying effective time management strategies to meet deadlines.
- Conduct site visits regularly to assess progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Lead project meetings, document progress reports, and communicate updates clearly to all stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout the construction process.
- Manage change orders, resolve conflicts, and address unforeseen issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Be fantastic with clients and site staff
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles
- Demonstrated ability in construction estimating and budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with heavy civil projects or large-scale infrastructure is advantageous.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on time management and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety standards. Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
