Novatek International is looking for creative problem solvers to assure the quality of our existing pharmaceutical and healthcare software offerings and create assured quality for our new ones. At Novatek, you’re not just implementing somebody else’s spec. QA Engineers work with software developers, product management, and customers in the service of quality and performance of our products. Quality Assurance is vital to the success of our company.
Required attributes:
- Passion for quality assurance of end-user applications
- Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues
- Working knowledge of tools such as Bugzilla and Final Builder
- Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person
- High productivity and multitasking
- Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to launch new projects and follow through to completion
- Desire to solve real problems for real users and motivated by making customers happy
- Ability to create and execute test plans
- Working knowledge of databases Oracle and SQL Server
Desired attributes:
- Experience developing and executing manual and automated test suites
- Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution
- Experience working in a variety of programming languages and environments
- Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing.
- Experience testing enterprise applications
- Ability to develop automated custom QA solutions without relying on commercial software packages
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Process
