Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and flair.
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing friendly, efficient service to ensure an enjoyable experience.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately on POS system, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Support food preparation tasks such as gluten free & vegan soup prep , snacks, or salads while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with strong knowledge of coffee making and food service procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient cashiering and cash handling.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling techniques, and health regulations.
- Ability to serve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
